The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) was signed by President Obama on December 10, 2015, and represents good news for our nation’s schools. This version is an historical record of the EOCO: Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Training that was used for the 2019-2020 school year, and is not the most current training. o We aim not to discriminate against anyone, be they staff, pupil or parent, on the grounds of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion/belief. We welcome applications from pupils with special educational needs or disabilities within the context of being an academically selective school.This version offers the training materials in the form of a written presentation. We collaborate with school districts to increase equitable enrollment in rigorous courses. Staff are required to complete the training using SafeSchools. This is the current version of the EOCO training.Instead, CPS staff must complete the training on the SafeSchools professional development platform to be in compliance with mandatory CPS training requirements for all staff. However, CPS staff CANNOT fulfill this training requirement by watching this video here as it is only posted on this website for public review. This training is mandatory for all district-wide staff.
